About Us

Milton Choristers is a 4-part Community Choir who has entertained audiences in Halton Region and beyond for more than 50 years. We perform 2 concerts annually, often featuring guest soloists and musicians. We maintain a quality standard of singing as well as a strong sense of camaraderie. Our goal is to provide an inspiring, pleasurable, enlightening and memorable choral entertainment experience. We offer an opportunity for our members to expand their musical skills and to make new friends and to connect with and give back to the community. We are committed to our community and enjoy performing at numerous local events, especially at Christmastime, at Milton District Hospital, Troy's Toy Drive and downtown caroling at the Holiday Street Festival and at senior's residences and nursing homes. A love of singing, some sight singing and a sense of rhythm, as well as a sense of humor, are definite assets. The choir is administered by a volunteer executive board which is elected annually. We rely on the expertise and talents of our entire membership to make each season successful. To cover our costs for our Artistic Director and Collaborative Pianist, as well as our rehearsal and performance venues and the purchase of new music, each member pays a seasonal fee of $275. We are a registered not-for-profit charity.
